White-Label Commercial Asset License (DRAFT)

This is the license that ships with every product you export from Kovik. It sets out what you may do with your exports. It is a draft pending legal review and is marked DRAFT until approved; the final, counsel-approved wording ships with every export once approved. The English version is the authoritative one.

What this license covers

It covers each finished product you export from Kovik — the generated visuals, the filled layouts, the listing copy, and the packaged files in that export. It does not cover Kovik's own software, its layout templates and design skeletons as standalone assets, or the underlying AI models.

The rights you get

Subject to your compliance with our Terms, you receive a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publicly display, distribute, and sell the products you export — including on marketplaces such as Etsy, Amazon KDP, Shopify, Gumroad, and Stan Store, and directly to your own customers. You may pass your buyers the rights they need to use what they purchase from you.

Why this grant is real, not just wording

Kovik can grant these rights because it holds them upstream — for both halves of what you export.

Images and other visual assets are generated only with openly, permissively licensed models (Apache-class and equivalent), whose licenses already grant downstream commercial use, redistribution, and sublicensing.

Written text is generated through commercial provider APIs whose terms assign the rights in the output to the caller — to you, through Kovik — with no attribution, share-alike, or non-commercial condition attached, and no ownership claim by the provider. That is what lets you license on the written parts of a product, including the chapter and lesson bodies that make up an e-book or a course kit.

What no provider warrants is that generated content is unique or that it infringes nothing, so we do not repeat that claim to you. Kovik's own checks carry that weight instead: every export is screened against a protected-names corpus, visual output is checked for uniqueness, and AI-written body text is stated as such in the disclosure that ships with the product.

We deliberately do not build resale products on models whose terms would not let us grant you resale rights, and we re-check those terms whenever a model or its terms change.

What you own, and what is licensed

You own the product you created — your creative direction, your choices, your arrangement, and any of your own inputs. The AI-generated components within it are provided to you under this license rather than owned outright by anyone. In practice this means you have the full commercial rights above; it does not mean you own the AI models themselves.

Your inputs are your responsibility

You are responsible for anything you provide — uploads, custom text, brand names, logos, and any real person's name or likeness — and you confirm you have the rights to use them. Kovik screens for obvious intellectual-property and safety issues as a safeguard, but that screening is not a guarantee and does not transfer rights you do not hold.

AI-assisted, disclosed

Every export is AI-assisted under your creative direction and ships with an accurate disclosure generated from your project's real steps. Keeping that disclosure accurate where a marketplace requires it is part of using this license. Our posture is disclosure-positive: transparency, never avoidance.

What this license does not permit

This license does not let you:

• resell or redistribute Kovik's layout templates, design skeletons, or software as standalone assets, or as a competing template/asset library;
• claim authorship of, or resell, the underlying AI models or their raw weights;
• create or sell content that infringes third-party intellectual property, trademarks, or a real person's likeness without consent, or that is illegal, deceptive, or against a destination marketplace's policies;
• represent an AI-assisted product as human-only where a marketplace requires disclosure.

No warranty; draft status

Products and this license are provided on an as-is basis, without warranty, to the extent permitted by law. This template is DRAFT pending counsel review; the final approved wording is what ships with each export once the license template is approved. If any conflict exists, the license text included in your actual export governs that export.
